Dress Code & Uniforms

Saint Rose Grammar School requires uniforms to be worn by boys and girls. The uniform must be purchased at the School Uniform Shop in Point Pleasant. Please review the Student Handbook. 
DRESS CODE INFORMATION

GIRLS UNIFORMS
The girls’ uniform for grades kindergarten through 5th consists of jumper or slacks, school blouse or turtleneck and cardigan sweater. Uniforms for the girls in grades six through eight consist of a kilt, skort or slacks, school blouse or turtleneck and pullover sweater. For all grades, walking shorts and knit shirt are optional for the fall and spring.

BOYS UNIFORMS
The boys’ uniform for grades kindergarten through 8th consists of twill pants, oxford shirt or turtleneck, pullover sweater and tie. For all grades, shorts and a short sleeved knit shirt are optional for the fall and spring.

Appropriate shoes are required. Please refer to the Student Handbook for a description of acceptable styles.

GYM UNIFORMS
On the day the students have physical education they wear a required gym uniform. Dress regulations dictate the students must have appropriate hairstyles and no jewelry. Students wear St. Rose gym t-shirts and mesh shorts in the fall and spring, and sweatpants and sweatshirts.
